The Imperial City DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is heading soon to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4), bringing a slew of goodies.

Arriving as the first DLC game pack for the highly-acclaimed multi-player roleplaying game (RPG) after The Elder Scrolls Online switched from Pay-to-Play to Buy-to-Play, Imperial City launched recently for the PC and Mac versions and is set to hit the Xbox One and PS4 soon as well.

The Xbox One will get the DLC on Sept. 15, while the PS4 will get it one day later on Sept. 16. Bethesda Softworks' Imperial City has a number of neat perks to offer, so here's what to expect.

First of all, the Imperial City DLC brings hours of exciting story content, along with a number of neat features aiming to enhance the overall experience with both PvE and PvP content.

The DLC also adds a new currency for new gear, challenging new monsters, expanded Veteran Ranks, a couple of new dungeons and craftable item sets, among the highlights.

Among new areas, enemies, quests and items, the stakes are high in Imperial City. Daedric Prince Molag Bal has taken over the city, forcing three alliances to battle not only each other, but also strive to defeat him.

The new dungeons pose new challenges, for all adventurers, the new PvE and PvP content now has six Imperial Districts, and players will face compelling new quests and tough-to-beat enemies.

The new currency, meanwhile, allows players to get exclusive Veteran Rank 16 gear such as armor and weapons. Treasure Vaults also contain some rare goodies. Moreover, the new DLC also brings exclusive items and collectibles such as pets, polymorphs, costumers or mounts. Players can find such exclusive items either by checking out the Crown Store or by exploring the Imperial City.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited DLC is available either with an active Plus membership, or through the Crown Store for 2,500 crowns.

"The Imperial City DLC game pack isn't the end ... it's just the beginning. Orsinium is just around the corner-we also have tons of other new stuff and quality of life updates in the works," touts Rich Lambert, Creative Director. More details soon, so for now just sit back, buckle up and enjoy the Imperial City."
