Bugatti making an ultra-premium supercar for Gran Turismo's Vision Gran Turismo project, as it announced last month, shouldn't have really shocked gamers. After all, Bugatti is an ultra-premium supercar manufacturer.

However, Hyundai doing the same should turn heads in every way imaginable. Hyundai has joined the list of auto manufacturers to contribute a car to the Vision Gran Turismo series. Hyundai's N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo supercar, which boasts a stunning 872 horsepower, will be available for download into PlayStation 3's Gran Turismo 6.

As crazy as it sounds, to call the N 2025 a supercar might be selling it short. The hyper beast on wheels generates its power via four in-wheel motors hooked to a hydrogen fuel cell system. According to The Verge, Hyundai said it "draws inspiration from aeronautics and the testing ground called 'Muroc Dry Lake' where pilots and astronauts train, risking their lives for the pursuit of space travel." Hyundai was inspired by the body of water so much that it even refers to the supercar as the "Muroc."

Although the Muroc will be available for download into Gran Turismo 6, the public may never see the N 2025 high-performance vehicle ever hit the road, relegating it for exclusive virtual or digital use for now. However, Hyundai's N Brand is very real and will focus on high-performance cars in the lane of BMW's M line or Cadillac's V models. So, while the N 2025 itself might remain a tailpipe dream, an N model of some sort will be on the road at some point in the future.

Like the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo supercar announced last month, the N 2025 concept is a part of the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.
