Gamers who have been eyeing a PlayStation 4 for a while but have not been able to fork out the money are in luck. Fast food chain Taco Bell is looking to spread some love and is giving people a chance to win a PS4.

The icing on the cake is that this is not the regular black PS4 but a gold variant you can win from Taco Bell.

The new limited edition Gold PS4 Bundle up for grabs, however, is not for sale and can only be snagged if you participate in Taco Bell's promotion as it has teamed up with Sony.

"We've partnered once again on an exciting opportunity just for you! Only at Taco Bell and only for a limited time will you have the chance to win a Limited Edition Gold PlayStation 4 Bundle!" noted the PS4 blog.

Taco Bell is set to give away nearly 6,000 PS4 units, and one every 10 minutes, so chances of snagging the limited-edition Gold PS4 Bundle are not bad. The winner will likely get a 500GB model with a gold DualShock 4 controller, a voucher for PlayStation Plus membership (valid for a year) and the game Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

For those wondering how to get the chance to win the special Gold PS4, here's how:

  • Buy the specially marked "Big Box" combo meal from any participating Taco Bell outlet.
  • Check the code printed on the box.
  • Send a text message to 25552 with the code.
  • You will receive an acknowledgement text message and will be asked to confirm your age and agreement to rules.
  • You will then receive a Game Play.
  • After the completion of the Game Play, you will get an alert text to convey if you're a potential winner or not.

Alternatively, you can receive online codes without a purchase. Eligible consumers can head over to a special site dedicated to the promo.

The contest runs from Sept. 24 to Nov. 4. A participant is entitled to only one entry per day. Participants must be over 18 years old and a resident of the U.S. to be eligible.
