Nintendo just released the launch trailer for its brand new title that is part of the Skylanders franchise, giving gamers a look at all the daredevil stunts that are made possible when driving the new supercharged vehicles.

For the first time in the franchise, players can now drive, fly and dive powerful in super fast vehicles that enable them to take over the battlefield in a brand new way in Skylanders SuperChargers.

In SuperChargers, gamers can either play as a SuperCharger or a Skylander as the role as the gunner or pilot (and switch when they wish), and race around the world in 20 different vehicles that include racing cars, helicopters, boats, submarines and tanks.

Activison's toy-to-life video game franchise allows gamers to put plastic figures onto a portal, turning their bases to bring the characters to life on their screens. SuperChargers supports all over 300 Skylanders toys from previous titles, along with 20 new characters introduced.

Nintendo previously announced that there will be exclusive Skylander figures based on Nintendo characters like Bowser and Donkey Kong that will be released for SuperChargers for the Wii U. The figures will be able to work with any Amiibo-compatible Nintendo game.

Donkey Kong will be able to throw barrels and exploding bongos while in his Barrel Blaster vehicle, and Bowser in his Clown Cruiser will be able to breathe fire, command Koopas, summon Warp Pipes in SuperChargers. Using these Amiibo figures, players can now take to the skies (land, and sea) in this Skylanders title, allowing for aerial and underwater combat in their vehicles.

Sylanders SuperChargers was released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 3, Nintendo Wii U, Wii, and 3DS, and the iPad on September 20, as well as the dedicated racing game, Skylanders SuperChargers Racing exclusively for the Wii system and Nintendo 3DS.

Watch the earth, air, fire, water, life, magic, tech and undead Skylanders in their supercharged vehicles in the launch trailer below.
