The Game of Thrones coloring book is less than a month away, and now we have our first look at the cover.

That's right: the book series and HBO show that features copious amounts of nudity, blood and dragons is getting its own coloring book. Even if the book doesn't feature any of those things (but who knows, it might), this definitely isn't your regular old coloring book.

Author George R.R. Martin revealed the cover over on his Not A Blog Livejournal page, writing briefly about how the book came about.

"Yes, I said 'coloring book.' Not just for the kiddies either," Martin writes. "No, it seems that of late adult coloring books have become quite the thing, so Bantam wanted us to do one too. And since I love seeing good fantasy art, I was of course thrilled by the idea."

Who isn't a fan of great art? It was for that same reason Martin agreed to write the excellent World of Ice and Fire book, which, in addition to featuring nearly every bit of lore for Martin's fantasy world, also included some absolutely gorgeous artwork from some of the best in the business.

"I have seen the (uncolored) art for this one, and it looks spectacular," Martin continues on his blog. "Probably will look even better once colored. So stock up on your colored pencils, boys and girls (or your crayons, if you dare), you're going to need them."

The cover, which you can check out below, features Cersei Lannister looking as devious as ever as she takes a stroll through what is likely King's Landing. There is also a massive owl, that — well actually, I don't really know what is up with the owl. It sure does look cool, though! Martin says there are plans for an official coloring book contest with prizes for the winners, though he doesn't have the details just yet.

The book is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and will come out on October 27. Be sure to color this one nice and slow. It might just last you until The Winds of Winter comes out.
