Never underestimate the power of a little girl's love for her dad. Even a monster-sized, multibillion dollar company like Google is powerless to resist. If you've ever wondered if there's a scientific measurement for how far cuteness will get you, let this serve as your definitive answer.

A young girl named Katie recently wrote a letter to search company Google, lobbying to get her beloved father the day off for his upcoming birthday. The girl's adorable letter, handwritten in blue crayon, reads:

Dear Google worker,
Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, he gets one day off. Like he can get a day off Wednesday. Because Daddy ONLY gets a day off on Saturday.
From,
Katie
P.S. It is daddy's BIRTHDAY!
P.S.S. It is summer, you know.

(Note: spelling errors have been corrected for readability.)

Who could possibly resist that? No one, not even one of the biggest, most profitable companies in the world. There's so much cuteness at work in Katie's letter, it could be patented. When her father's supervisor at Google read Katie's letter, he felt compelled to reply. The typed letter by Senior Design Manager Daniel Shiplacoff, dated June 17, 2014, reads:

Dear Katie,
Thank you for your thoughtful note and request.
Your father has been hard at work designing many beautiful and delightful things for Google and millions of people across the globe.
On the occasion of his Birthday, and recognizing the importance of taking some Wednesdays off during the summer, we are giving him the whole first week of July as vacation time.
Enjoy!
Daniel Shiplacoff

How many megacorporations can you think of that would honor a child's request like this? It's nice to see that Google still takes its founding mantra of "Don't be evil" seriously.

Lest the more cynical among us fear that this whole thing is a clever PR campaign, Google confirmed to TheBlaze.com that both letters are the real deal. The identity of Katie's father has not been made public, but his supervisor Daniel Shiplacoff is known as a Google designer who works on the company's Android operating system.

Google is consistently ranked among the best workplaces in the world. It's no wonder, considering the company's extensive perks and benefits, which include free gourmet food, free car rentals, free concierge, free spirits on Fridays, free massages, on-site fitness facilities and classes, longer-than-normal maternity leave for both moms and dads, the freedom to take your pet to work with you, and much more.
