With the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the older iteration of the smartphone is seeing price cuts from major retailers to entice prospective buyers.

The AT&T variant of the smartphone is now available for a mere $299.99 from a retailer on eBay. This price is for the 32GB version of the Galaxy Note 4, which is a pretty good deal considering other retailers are offering the smartphone for much more despite discounts.

As we reported, Best Buy and Amazon also reduced the price of the Galaxy Note 4 and were offering the device at a discounted price of $599 and $539.29, respectively.

If the current eBay deal sounds too good to be true and you're thinking what the catch is - the smartphone being sold is seller refurbished.

"Pre-owned, good condition, fully functional. Device will have signs of cosmetic wear," disclaims the seller.

So, if you don't mind owning a pre-loved Galaxy Note 4 which would possibly have a few scratches and is not in mint condition, then the eBay deal from the seller "certifiedusedphoneoutlet" is a fabulous offer.

The white variant of the Galaxy Note 4 has sold out and you will have to contend with the black option. The only other caveat of this deal is that the Galaxy Note 4 will only be compatible with AT&T as it is locked to the carrier.

Earlier in June this year, another seller "qualitycellz" was also offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for $400 on eBay. The price was for the 32GB model of the factory unlocked variant of the smartphone from AT&T. The GSM compatible smartphones would work with most carriers and the deal was quite a steal, considering the unlocked version of the Galaxy Note 4 retailed for $850 if you purchased it directly from AT&T. The seller was offering the smartphone in two hues: white or black with free shipping in the U.S.

Interestingly, the same seller is offering the manufacturer refurbished Galaxy Note 4 (32GB) for $419.99 now. Only the black option is up for grabs.
