It's already regarded as one of the worst play calls in NFL history and after being shredded on social media, Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano is feeling the heat via a video-game recreation, too.

The brilliant minds at The Cauldron have recreated the Colts' absurd fake punt call from their Sunday Night Football loss to the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. But this just isn't any recreation — this is a video-game recreation, set to the classic Tecmo Bowl.

The video-game take on the Colts' terrible trick play has punter Pat McAfee line up wide right with only Griff Whalen at center and safety Colt Anderson lined up behind him to take the snap, just as seen in the actual game during a crucial fourth-down, fourth-quarter possession Sunday night.

The hilarity comes as The Cauldron adds "WTFake Punt (inexplicably shift team to the right)" as one of the play options underneath cancel, timeout, punt kick and field goal. Upon selecting the fake punt option, the recreated video game prompts, "LOL..wait. You're serious—Yes or No?"

Just like the game itself, the play ends in an instant tackle — not to mention pure embarrassment for Pagano. The game shows a shot of Pagano, adding the words, "Turnover on downs! What were you thinking?"

What a disaster! At least one of the worst NFL play calls can live on for years to come via this video-game brilliance.
