Well, it's called the Pokémon EXPO Gym, to be more precise.

Sanoyas Interaction announced that the edutainment facility will be opening on Nov. 19 in Osaka, offering the first hands-on facility for Pokémon in Japan where kids (and adults!) can not only enjoy the cuteness of the pocket monsters but learn as well how to better communicate with each other and with Pokémon as well. Guests can advice troubled Pokémon, for instance, and use the skills they've learned to go about interacting with Pokémon.

To help track progress around the Pokémon EXPO Gym, a companion mobile app will be offered.

While it's not exactly the gym that anyone remotely familiar with the franchise knows, the Pokémon EXPO Gym does offer Pokémon-related training that fans will definitely enjoy. Besides, it's the closest that anyone can go to actually undergo training, allowing fans to take a step closer towards the ever-elusive dream of advancing to the Pokémon League.

According to the Pokémon EXPO Gym official website, kids under 3.3 feet will not be allowed to participate in Pokémon BATTLE Bowling. There is no age limit generally but children of elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian. Additionally, those below 16 years old must be supervised by adults when entering the facility after 7:00 p.m., in accordance with the youth health development ordinance in Osaka.

Going to the Pokémon EXPO Gym will definitely be an experience any fan will want to relive over and over again but all guests are advised that taking photos and videos in certain training programs, like the Charizard Battle Coliseum, is prohibited.

Those looking to come to the Pokémon EXPO Gym in groups can also reserve their slots in advance to ensure that everyone will be able to get into the facility. On a related note, guests are warned to prepare for congestion in the facility, which may lead to delays in admissions in training programs or training programs being canceled altogether.

Aside from the Pokémon EXPO Gym, fans are also looking forward to Pokémon Go, an augmented-reality game for Android and iOS which will allow players to capture Pokémon and duke it out with trainers wherever they are in real life. The game is scheduled to arrive sometime next year, to be paired with a Bluetooth device called Pokémon Go Plus.
