Windows 10 has been extremely well received when compared to Windows 8. You can now pick up the $99 Dell Venue 8 Pro 8-inch tablet, which is also upgradeable to Windows 10 for a limited time.

When Microsoft released Windows 8 in October 2012, the OS featured a new design based on the company's smartphone OS, which traded the much-loved and familiar Start menu and desktop for floating Live Tiles and touch-focused interface.

It soon became clear that most users who grew up with Windows and used the desktop OS daily missed the look and feel of the Windows they were used to. Microsoft heard its users and embarked on Windows 10, which would bring back the familiarity of previous versions of Windows but also include and improve upon the mobile efforts the company has added to Windows.

Windows 10 has already been installed on over 100 million computers and is constantly receiving updates from Microsoft to squash bugs, add features, and more. If Windows 10 had you curious and you'd like an inexpensive Windows 10 tablet, a new limited time deal from Dell is worth considering.

Dell is now offering the Venue 8 Pro 3000 Series 32GB tablet for $99, which was even awarded as PCMAG.COM's Editor's Choice for budget Windows slate tablet.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro features an 8-inch 1,280 x 800 IPS HD display, includes 32GB of internal storage, and microSD expansion slot that will support up to 128GB microSD cards. It's powered by an Intel Atom processor Z3735G (2MB Cache, up to 1.83GHz Quad-Core), Intel HD Graphics video card, and 1GB of RAM.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro is packing a 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel front-facing shooter for Skype, selfies, and video chat. Dell claims the tablet's 4,830 mAh battery will provide up to 8 hours of battery life and it ships with Windows 8.1 Pro but can be upgraded to Windows 10 for free.
