Malaria's domain is now expanding to include regions with higher altitudes. People tended to chose to live in higher altitudes that have cooler temperature because malaria-carrying mosquitoes do not thrive in cooler climates. However, because of climate change, there is now malaria in regions that used to be malaria-free.
