Much attention has been given to the recently released Google Nexus 5X from LG. But lest we forget, the 5X only existed because of 2013's Google Nexus 5's success. Of course, with the new model introduced, it's only a matter of time before the Nexus 5 drops down in price. In fact, it already started.

Those looking to score a good deal on the 2013 original release will be happy to know that most retailers, including Amazon, have listed the smartphone below the $200 line. Nonetheless, Tech Times went out of its way to find the best deal currently available, which led to finding a listing on eBay.

An eBay seller, mobilepros1, with almost 99,000 positive feedback, lists the LG Nexus 5 D820 at $174.99. According to the listing, the device is brand new, unused, undamaged and unopened from its box.

After taking it out of the box, consumers should expect a black factory-unlocked LG D820 running on Android with 4.95-inch IPS LCD 1080p display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage. The front-facing and main cameras are 1.3 MP and 8 MP, respectively. The main shooter supports optical image stabilization (OIS).

The battery is 2,300 mAh, which was advertised to support 60 hours of music playback. The phone also comes equipped with Wi-Fi and 4G LTE using a micro SIM. Note that the 4G bands that this phone runs on is compatible with Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and other network carriers operating in the United States.

At the moment of writing, 279 units have already been sold. Interested parties must bear in mind that the seller is based in Morristown, New Jersey. Hence, the expected time of arrival for the orders will vary on how far the buyer is from the seller. Orders from within the country are covered by eBay's standard free shipping. International shipping will have a different shipping rate.
