Guardians and Stone Taluses are some of the most difficult enemies you'll run into in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but apparently, that applies to them too.

From the look of things, players can pit two formidable foes roaming Hyrule against each other, even though Guardians aren't normally out for blood for Stone Taluses and vice-versa.

The Guardian, The Stone Talus, And Link

Taking things to Twitter, Articles Editor of Dorkly Tristan Cooper or @TristanACooper posted a video of the awesome showdown, and needless to say, it easily garnered a ton of attention.

In the clip, the Stone Talus was targeting Link, but it hit the Guardian and stunned it as well. Of course, the Guardian wasn't happy about that, so when it recovered from its daze, it shot a laser at the Stone Talus in retaliation.

It's no accident either, as Cooper is positioning Link in a way that puts the Guardian in the middle and in the range of attack of the Stone Talus.

Aside from being an interesting sight, it's an effective technique to change the tide of a losing battle, but that's not the case with Guardians when there's no Stone Talus present. Fortunately, there are plenty of tricks in defeating Guardians easily, including parrying and using Ancient Arrows or the Master Sword.

A Lot Of Things Can Happen In 'Breath Of The Wild'

As everyone knows, Breath of the Wild is designed to encourage players to try everything under the sun and discover things they didn't know was possible to do in the game, which is evidenced by Technical Director Takuhiro Dohta's statement during the 2017 Game Developers Conference.

To put two and two together, the bout between the Guardian and Stone Talus aligns with the game's nature, as it's definitely something that a lot of people didn't expect could happen.
