If you're looking for a great discount deal on a new gaming console bundle, look no further than Target, Amazon and Best Buy, which have all lowered the price on the Assassin's Creed Unity bundle to an effective $299. But which is the best deal to choose?

If you're doing some last-minute Christmas shopping for yourself or your loved ones, Target, Amazon and Best Buy recently announced great deals on the Xbox One. The Xbox One Assassin's Creed Unity bundle includes the game console and the Assassin's Creed Unity and Black Flag game downloads, and was originally announced as a Microsoft manufacturer's bundle costing $399. That means the bundle was created by the manufacturer as opposed to a particular retail store or online retailer, and is available at most online and retail store locations.

For this year's Black Friday, most stores were discounting the bundle down to $349, including the official Xbox site. Target did one better by slicing an additional $20 off the price for Black Friday, charging $329 for the bundle. On top of that, Target also offered a $50 Target gift card with purchase, which took the price down to an effective $279 on the bundle for Black Friday. That deal was so good it ranked as one of the Top 5 best-rated Black Friday 2014 sale deals.

Unfortunately, however, when Black Friday was over, so was the deal from Target. But now, fast on the heels of Christmas, a similar deal is available. Target is keeping the price at $349 this time, but offering a $50 gift card with your purchase, bringing the price down to an effective $299. The gift card can either be mailed to your home or delivered digitally, and the package is also available for in-store pickup. Target is also offering free shipping on all items for the holidays, and that includes this deal.

Not to be outdone, Amazon has for all intents and purposes price matched the Target deal, offering the same exact bundle for the same price of $349, along with an Amazon gift card of $50. Amazon will email the credit to buyers within two days after their order ships. Amazon in particular is notorious for ever-changing price adjustments, so if you plan to order this deal from Amazon, act fast. Best Buy has also gotten in on the act, and is offering the same deal as well, so you can really choose whichever retailer you prefer, since the deal is the same at all three.
