Android 14's QPR1 Beta 3.1 is now available for all to download, and it centers on fixing the bugs and issues present with the smartphone OS release, mostly for Google Pixel devices. The latest Android 13 version is available for Pixel devices now, and coming soon for other manufacturers for them to adapt to their UI.
The features coming with the latest update aim to center on the Pixel devices and the bugs that came with its previous releases from the company.
Android 13 QPR1 Beta 3.1 Now Available

Google's Beta user program delivered the latest beta software for Android 13, the QPR1 Beta 3.1, which delivers the latest fix and version of the operating system for testers and those in the program. It is only a minor update to beta version 3, which was released last October to answer the problems seen by developers on the previous one.
Users can join the beta program via Android's platform, and they can also opt not to receive the latest updates from Google's developer releases.
The next beta version would arrive in December, centering on Beta 4.
Pixel Bug Fix in Latest Android 13
The Pixel devices receive the bug fixes in the latest Android 13 QPR1 Beta 3.1, and it centers on the following:
- Fixed a platform issue that caused apps to crash when they were using a MediaSession to handle input from hardware media playback buttons. (Issue #251798994, Issue #252665746, Issue #251381423, Issue #251513135, Issue #255500998)
- Fixed issues where a device's GPU drivers sometimes caused the system UI to freeze during normal device use.
- Fixed an issue where Pixel phones sometimes displayed an incorrect "Missed call" notification instead of "Call answered on another device" when the call was answered remotely by Pixel Watch (in untethered mode).
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Google Camera app to crash.
- Fixed an issue that prevented Google Assistant from being activated by hotword on some devices.
- Fixed an issue that prevented motion-based gestures, such as "Lift to check phone" or "Flip to Shhh", from working on some devices.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused artifacts to display when recording or viewing video on some devices.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Google Camera app to launch slowly.
- Fixed an issue for Pixel 6a devices that sometimes caused the CarrierSettings to crash when inserting a SIM card.
- Fixed that issue that prevented the "Go to browser" option in the notification shade from working while using an instant app.
Android 13 and its Features
Android 13 is the latest operating system version for this year, available for all compatible devices which use Google's technology to power their devices and center on features for the smartphone. The company brought different updates to certain operations and features in the devices, centering on actions that users utilize with the device.
Despite Google releasing the Android 13 for the public to use, it still centers on many beta releases which deliver on the company's offers and aims to bring the public on their usage. The last release also delivers the QPR1 Beta but with version 2 that focuses on the Pixel's media player navigation better for its users.
