Amazon has dropped the price tag of 31 premium apps in its Android Appstore for two days only, June 27-28, granting Android users the opportunity to snatch up approximately $100 in apps for free.
The weekend promotion is a part of Amazon's Free App of the Day program, in which the online retailer usually offers a premium app for free each day.
The 31-app giveaway is running concurrently with the traditional format in which Amazon offered a free app each day, meaning Android fans can pick up 33 free apps over the course of the two-day promotion. On June 27, "MacGyver Deadly Descent" was the free app of the day and it wasn't included in the 31 apps Amazon compiled into its weekend promotion.
