As much as well all love 'em, Starbucks' rainbow drinks are so last season. Now trendy coffee (really tea) lovers can start sipping on a secret lineup of beverages that are perfect for the spring—and Instagram.
Starbucks baristas are whipping up a new ombre drink that is already taken over Instagram feeds.
Called the Pink Purple Drink, this this two-toned, tie-dyed beverage is a fresh spin on the infamous Pink Drink.
As assumed, this new secret menu item combines the two popular colored drinks together with layers of flavor, copying the look of the new secretly released Matcha Pink Drink.
The Pink Purple Drink consists of one part Strawberry Acai Refresher with coconut milk (the Pink Drink), one part Passion iced tea with soy milk, vanilla syrup and blackberries.
While it sounds like it tastes heavenly, it looks just as divine. It is exactly what one would expect unicorn milk to look like. This makes it the perfect drink to order to show off how trendy you are on Insta.
Just keep in mind that ordering the Pink Purple Drink may cause the barista to put a sticker over your cup logo to ruin that Instagram picture. With so many ingredients and a recommended way to make the drinkso it comes out with its ombre look, baristas will probably curse customers when ordering this beverage when there is a long line.
The drink has popped up on Reddit, with people recommending that customers pay for two drinks since this new secret menu item is essential the Pink and Purple drink in one cup.

The Purple Pink Drink is the second ombre drink, following the Matcha Pink Drink, which is made with three parts Strawberry Acia Refresher with coconut milk and 1 part matcha coconut, served over ice.
