Nintendo is partnering up with Amazon to sell and deliver all Mario goodies to celebrate the Super Mario 35th Anniversary this month of November onwards. The Japanese games developer company offers various products and merchandise from the "Super Mario" franchise with additional 100 MyNintendo points and a Mario-themed packaging upon delivery.
Japanese consumer electronics and game developing company, Nintendo, is inviting everyone to join this month's festivities to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of its top-grossing game franchise lead character, "Super Mario." The name initially debuted in Nintendo's earliest platform games and title, "Donkey Kong."
Super Mario is the lead character that starred in his own game initially released in 1985 entitled "Super Mario Bros." that received massive success and launched a multi-million franchise that opened the world to Japanese games. Nintendo's game featured the adventures of fraternal plumber twins, Mario and Luigi, in their quest to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Nintendo's "Super Mario" franchise helped popularize platform games from the company, opening up several titles to debut. The mid-1980s featured most of Nintendo's favorite 2D and 8-bit platformers available to play on the NES, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, and Game&Watch.
Amazon: Super Mario 35th Anniversary Merchandise from Nintendo
According to Nintendo Wire, Amazon and Nintendo's recent collaboration offers the public an easier way to shop through the former's e-commerce website, offering a few freebies along the way. A Mario-themed box would be used to select items bought from Amazon and ship with the limited edition package.
Additionally, everyone is entitled to receive 100 MyNintendo Platinum Points after following the prompts on Amazon's page and completing the company's requirements. The free points need only a Nintendo account and a buyer to satisfy the procedures. MyNintendo points can be used for in-game purchases and for to swap for items in Nintendo's shop.
