Users who have been wanting to snag a Samsung tablet would be glad to know that the device is now being retailed at a cheaper price at online shopping site BuyDig.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is now offered at $100 off its original price and now retails at $399.99. According to BuyDig, the device is in brand new condition and comes with a USA Warranty.

"Built for ultra-fast performance the thin and lightweight Galaxy Tab S2 lets you take your digital content with you wherever you go. Photos, movies, and documents pop on the crisp, clear Super AMOLED display. Expandable memory lets you enjoy more content," said BuyDig.

Customers who want to purchase the tablet have the color options of black and white.

The Galaxy Tab S2 features a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2,048 by 1,536 pixels. It runs on Android 5.1 and is packed with a storage of 32GB and a RAM of 3GB. The dimensions are measured at 9.34 by 6.65 by 0.22 inches and weight is at 13.72 ounces. Having said that, it is one of the thinnest and lightest tablets in the market to date.

Other notable features include an 8MP rear camera, a 2.1MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, Exynos 5433 quad-core processor and a 4:3 aspect ratio screen which makes it a perfect companion for reading ebooks.

"Kick back with the 4:3 aspect ratio screen. It offers pleasant reading that's easy on your eyes and comfortable in your hand," said Samsung.

Samsung announced the global availability of its Galaxy Tab S2 in July and confirmed that the tablet is also landing in North America one month later. While the tablet comes in sizes of 9.7 and 8 inches, the bigger tablet is so far the one that is being offered currently at BuyDig at a $100 discount.

Both size options share a number of similar features which include the front and rear cameras, RAM, storage, CPU, SoC, OS, fingerprint scanner, multi window, WiFi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and aluminum and plastic build.

However, the bigger 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S2 also has a bigger battery of 5,870 mAh as opposed to the 8-inch tablet's 4,000 mAh. Moreover, the bigger tablet has two storage options (32GB and 64GB) while the smaller only comes in 32GB.

"Your pick. The 8.0" screen is perfect for winding down with your favorite book in hand, while the bigger 9.7" screen makes movies that much more enjoyable," said Samsung.

Customers should remember that the discounted price will be displayed only on the final stage of checkout as BuyDig notes on its site.
