Headphone company Master & Dynamic has launched a new pair of headphones called the MW60 headphones. What makes this new pair of headphones different, however, is the fact that it offers a range of four times the standard through an external wireless antenna.

The design of the headphones looks very high-class and luxurious, being made up of brushed metal and premium-looking leather. Users can pre-order the MW60 headphones starting now.

So how long is the range of the headphones? Well, according to the company, the exposed aluminum antenna helps the headphones offer Bluetooth range of as much as 100+ feet, allowing users to move a pretty significant distance away from their device without streaming being cut. The range is coupled with the 16-hour rechargeable battery.

Apart from the range and battery, the headphones feature 45mm neodymium drivers, a noise-isolating microphone that's integrated within the headphones, ear pads with memory foam, and a frequency range of 5 to 25,000Hz, which is better than the human range of hearing. Bluetooth 4.1 is used for connectivity, and is paired with aptX. A two meter audio cable is also included, as well as a micro USB cable for charging and updating the headphones. The headphones have a weight of 345 grams.

The outside headband is made from cowhide leather, with the interior part being made by a softer lambskin. The hinges are made from stainless steel, like some of the other components. Users can control audio directly on the ear cups.

Those interested in the new headphones can head to the Master & Dynamic website now, however you'll have to shell out $549 for a pair of your own.
