After breaking YouTube records with her hit single, "Hello," Adele is now ready to make waves in the film industry.

The British singer-songwriter's video, as of posting, has been viewed over 333,000,000 times. The song sold over a million downloads only a week after its debut. Within a day of uploading, the music video gained almost 28 million views, breaking Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video record which made 20 million views in 24 hours.

The "Hello" music video is the work of Canadian actor and director Xavier Dolan. Given the success of the collaboration, the 26-year-old musician is reportedly in early talks to make a cameo appearance in Dolan's upcoming film, "The Death and Life of John F Donovan."

"I'm sure I'll get some flak for this, but I actually would like to act after working with Xavier," Adele shared in an interview. "I would be in a film for him, definitely."

Known for her haunting voice and soulful lyrics, Adele has produced hit after hit. Her first album, "19," released in 2008, is the decade's 11th biggest selling album. Her second album, "21," released in 2011, has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Her third album, "25," is set to release on Nov. 20.

"My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record. I'm making up with myself," she wrote about her upcoming album on her official website. "25 is about getting to know who I've become without realising. And I'm sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened."

Dolan grew up in the film industry, working as a child actor and eventually moving on to be known for films such as "Heartbeats," "Tom at the Farm" and "I Killed My Mother."

With Adele on the big screen and Dolan at the helm, who knows what records are waiting to be broken.

Unfortunately, no specific plans have been disclosed by either parties, so for now, fans can only speculate at the glory of another Adele-Xavier collaboration.
