There's a strange family in Turkey that is having some evolutionist wondering if their genes have gone back 4 million years ago when it is alleged that man once walked on all fours. Why? For some reason, some members of this particular Turkish family happen to walk on both feet and both hands like apes.

Strange, but very true. Obviously, evolutionists have taken a liking to this story, as they aim to use it to help prove that evolution truly happened, and that man was once an ape-like creature. Now, this family first came to prominence eight years ago via a BBC documentary called, "The Family That Walks on All Fours."

At the time, researchers were confused as to what was the cause of these persons' inability to stand and walk upright. Their parents did not suffer from this strangeness, so why are they? Without knowing for certain what caused the issue, some researchers called it backward evolution, or devolution for short.

However, after all those long years, scientists may have finally come up with a reason why this family walks on all fours. Apparently, this disease is called Uner Tan Syndrome, according to Dr. Liza Shapiro, an anthropologist at The University of Texas at Austin. The syndrome is a human quadrupedalism condition that also affects brains, making the affected persons unable to speak properly.

"Although it's unusual that humans with UTS habitually walk on four limbs, this form of quadrupedalism resembles that of healthy adults and is thus not all unexpected," said Liza Shapiro, one of the researchers, in a news release. "As we have shown, quadrupedalism in healthy adults or those with a physical disability can be explained using biomechanical principles rather than evolutionary assumptions."

We have to admit that the backward evolution theory was quite the overkill, just evolutionist looking for something to help bolster their claims.

The idea that the problem is caused by the Uner Tan Syndrome, makes more sense than anything else. The only downside to this story is that there isn't yet a cure that is capable of helping these people live normal lives.
