"Criminal Minds" actress Kirsten Vangsness is engaged to actor/writer Keith Hanson!

Hanson popped the question in front of friends and family a couple of weeks ago and as you can guess, Vangsness said yes. According to the actress, he's the perfect partner for her and she feels like they can evolve together.

"When you're so into somebody and get to just mush up next to them - that's the best part of it," said Vangsness.

It hasn't been long since the engagement but the actress is more than ready to jump into wedding planning, comparing the process to the everyday tasks she carries out producing plays. As it takes her around six weeks to get everything ready for one, she's confident that she's got more than enough experience to plan out her wedding, especially since it's actually Hanson who's more particular than her.

Vangsness said her future groom is a hopeless romantic so he has more requirements about the wedding than her. Still, she has started planning some aspects of their big day, thinking of going big than trying to narrow down her options.

Think "Doctor Who," "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "Harry Potter" in one wedding. Vangsness also asked Hanson if he'd be down with getting a horse and fitting it with a horn so guests can take pictures with a unicorn.

No details have been finalized yet but Vangsness seemed pretty set on spray-painting dinosaurs gold and using them as table markers.

What about her wedding dress?

Vangsness said she'd want a plaid dress so she could wear it to something else. Specifically, she wants to wear her wedding dress when she gets nominated for her first big award.

Though clearly excited, this isn't the first time that Vangsness was engaged. Back in February 2009, she was engaged to Melanie Goldstein after dating for two and a half years. The two broke it off after realizing that the paths they have each chosen are not offering room for growth together.

Yes, Vangsness has now been engaged to both a man and a woman. However, the actress clarified that she does not identify as a bisexual.

Not that any of that matters. All that's important is Vangsness and Hanson are happy together. Congratulations, you two!
