For American audiences, Disney and Lucasfilm have kept the plot of (and any ensuing spoilers from) The Force Awakens tightly under wraps, but it looks like the same hasn't held true for international campaign counterparts. With only eight days to go until its American release, a new Chinese trailer for the latest film in the franchise has been released.

Up until now, the American trailers for the film have been more or less dialogue-free, and it's a given that any footage used is cultivated from the first third of the film (as Deadline notes, "Disney and Lucasfilm know you're going to see it, so they don't need to tell you what happens"), but the Chinese trailer takes the exact opposite tack with all-new footage, seemingly cluing fans in as to whether whatever spoiler-related rumors they've heard about the movie so far are true or not.

The trailer is also introduced by the Chinese-Korean K-Pop singer Lu Han, a member of the band Exo, holding a lightsaber (fittingly, Exo is known for the Star Wars-themed K-Pop song "Lightsaber").

While we won't spoil anything here, you can check out the Chinese trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens for yourself in the clip below.

The Force Awakens will be released in the U.S. on Dec. 18 and in China on Jan. 29.
