Lenovo is expected to launch the A7010 handset, the company's latest offering from its popular A-lineup of smartphones.

Following the handset's listing on an e-commerce website recently, the company now features the Lenovo A7010 on its official support page.

With the name VIBE X3 Lite being indicated as well on the page, it clearly shows that Lenovo could launch the device under two different names. This means that Lenovo may decide which name to use when the handset launches depending on the region.

The Lenovo A7010 is said to be an upgraded version of the A7000. It has an upgraded Full HD display of 5.5 inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution. Just like the other Lenovo budget devices, the new A7010 is equipped with Dolby Atmos speakers and comes with a pair of 1.5 W speakers out of the box.

As for other details on the handset's specifications, the A7010 is purported to run on an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor and will feature a RAM of 2 GB. There will be a 13 MP rear camera that has Phase Detection Auto Focus and dual-LED flash and a 5 MP selfie camera on the front. Its inbuilt storage is set at 8 GB which can be stretched up to 128 GB through a microSD card.

The Lenovo A7010 also has a number of connectivity options that are great for the heavy user. These include 4G, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and Micro-USB 2.0. It has a 3,300 mAh battery which the company touts as capable to deliver a talk time period of up to 23 hours, while standby time can reach up to 265 hours. Sensors such as gravity, e-compass, ambient light and proximity are also included in the device.

The A7010 could just be the handset with the best noise cancelling feature as it is apparently equipped with a trio of microphones. While it is running Android 5.1 Lollipop, it is also expected to receive the latest Android 6.0 OS.

Apart from the handset's dual moniker, no other details were revealed on the site. Lenovo has yet to officially announce the A7010 and may provide more information such as pricing and release date in the coming days ahead.
