Gamers will have to wait slightly longer for The Elder Scrolls: Legends says a top executive at Bethesda.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a collectible card video game, which has been developed by Dire Wolf Digital and published by Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda revealed the video game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo conference, or E3.

Bethesda is also the publisher of the widely popular video game Fallout Shelter. The success of Fallout Shelter has undoubtedly increased the excitement for the publisher's next game.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends was expected to be released 2015 but as we approach the end of December 2015, Pete Hines, the VP of PR and Marketing has confirmed via a tweet that game enthusiasts will have to wait slightly longer to play the game.

Fallout Shelter had some bugs that annoyed many gamers. However, the game received an update that fixed several issues. The delay in the release of The Elder Scrolls: Legends remains unknown. However, it seems that the long delay is to ensure that gamers get a game with least bugs.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends has been in the works from 2013 and the game will be competing against the likes of other similar games such as Hearthstone, which is developed by Blizzard Entertainment. The game developer has already announced an expansion for Hearthstone called "The Grand Tournament," which brings a number of new cards. Bethesda hopes that The Elder Scrolls: Legends will attract gamers and compete with other games in the same category.

Bethesda has generated a lot of money from Fallout Shelter, which is available as a free-to-play mobile game. The company hopes that The Elder Scrolls: Legends will also impress gamers and generate high revenue.
