When you think of the types of weapons that would help protect a survivor during the zombie apocalypse, the chainsaw definitely ranks high on that list.

Now, kids — and adults — will get to rip through hordes of flesh-eaters using a real (well, plastic) chainsaw blaster from Nerf.

Called the "Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blaster," this new weapon ideal for battling zombies is as cool as is sounds. It has a bayonet shape with the ability to shoot up to eight darts, with four blasted from each side. However, the best part of the Brainsaw is that it is part-gun, part-chainsaw, complete with a spinning blade.

For those parents freaking out that this is an accident waiting to happen, rest assured that it's a foam chainsaw we are talking about on this awesome Nerf blaster.

While you can probably already imagine holding this foam chainsaw blaster high in the air with the blade spinning while yelling your war cry and then hunting down your enemies, Hasbo's other new Nerf gun will probably have you feeling bad to the bone as well.

Adding to the Doomlands line is the new Double-Dealer. This Nerf model looks like a gun and crossbow hybrid but features two magazines that stick out on each side. The magazines each hold up to 12 darts, and the blaster features two barrels so that darts from each magazine are released at the same time.

The Double-Dealer also continuously shoots when you hold down the trigger to allow darts to release until you run out of ammo.

Hasbro announced the two new Nerf guns ahead of the American International Toy Fair 2016 that will take place Feb. 13 to Feb. 16 at the Javits Center in New York.

The Nerf Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blaster will retail for $30, and the Double-Deal for $40 when they hit shelves in the fall.
