Melisandre was not kidding when she said that "the night is dark and full of terrors" because "Game of Thrones" not only released the first set of photos on Feb. 12, it also released its most recent teaser trailer for season 6 on Feb. 14 and the prospect is just scary.

The teaser takes the audience into "The Hall of Faces" where Arya Stark was punished and had her sight taken away in the last episode of season 5. Of course we know that the hall houses the faces of those who have already met their demise but the teaser trailer just killed it.

Actually, the teaser seems to have killed everyone, especially those who are fighting over the Iron Throne. Watch the teaser trailer below.

The audience get a nice view of the Hall of Faces and hear some eerie whispers as the camera slowly zooms in. Then we hear the voice of the first major character to die- though not a surprising death because Ned Stark was portrayed by Sean Bean- followed by the faces and voices of Rob and Catelyn Stark whom we all know met their violent deaths during the Red Wedding.

The Starks' faces are followed by the face and voice of a character everyone wanted dead from the beginning: none other than Joffrey Baratheon. "Everyone is mine to torment," Joffrey says and we're pretty sure everyone is happy to see his face in the hall.

Of course, the one who knows nothing is next. "The long night is coming... and the dead come with it," Jon Snow says before the camera zooms out to reveal the faces of Tyrion Lannister, Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei, Arya and Jaime. Pretty much the characters most people are rooting for.

Someone must have made George R.R. Martin angry that he killed off Tyrion. Then again, Arya did see her own face on a faceless man before she completely lost her sight. If you're wondering about Arya's condition, by the way, she's still alive and serving her punishment, or at least that's what the photos from the set of "Game of Thrones" shows.

The question now is: whose face will really end up in the "Hall of Faces" and who is just being taught a lesson like Arya?

"Game of Thrones" returns to HBO on April 24.
