The Marvel Universe is coming to the small screen, but there is nothing small about the big move.

In the new Netflix series, "Daredevil," veteran "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" actor Vincent D'Onofrio will be playing none other than the Kingpin of Crime himself, Wilson Fisk.

The look of D'Onofrio has finally been revealed, and it is pretty comic book accurate. When discussing his appearance with ScreenCrush (where his new bald look is revealed), the actor was filming a scene in Brooklyn where "it's the first time you see my character do something physical." The actor is an imposing six-foot-four inches tall, making for a Kingpin that will no doubt be a towering presence from low angles that the production will use.

ScreenCrush had an in-depth interview with the actor and managed to learn some big details from the set of the superhero drama. When asked about the size of the Marvel Universe and his place in it, D'Onofrio had this to say:

"Yeah, it's huge. It's huge. I mean the whole Marvel world is so huge. But I gotta tell you, I couldn't be working for nicer people. I really am. I'm just having a great time. The whole - the way that we're shooting it, our Daredevil, everybody that's in the show, is just going so well. Tonight we have a big fight scene that's happening. It's the first time you see my character do something physical."

The veteran actor sounds overjoyed to be in the Netflix production and is excited to chew the scenery as Daredevil's arch nemesis. D'Onofrio admitted talking to other actors that have dealt with the Marvel machine in the past.

"Everybody I talk to who has been involved in a Marvel project describes [the experience] almost as their childhood fantasy come to life," adds D'Onofrio. The thing about Marvel is that they're not - they're into real acting. They're looking for artists that are willing to take chances and are willing to create characters, even if that character has been around for years and years in comic books, they still are depending on us to create something and take it somewhere else."

While we won't see "Daredevil" until next year, we are psyched to see the look of omnipotent Kingpin of Crime. The towering thug that runs New York in the comic books is in excellent hands with D'Onofrio at the controls. More importantly, he is as psyched as we are about the show.
