Disney Interactive revealed new details regarding content coming to its popular video game Disney Infinity 3.0 during its new online series called Disney Infinity Next on Monday.

The first episode of the series highlighted all the content plans fans of the toy-to-life video game can look forward to this year. Disney took the time to announce that the next set to be released for Disney Infinity 3.0 will feature some of our favorite Marvel characters.

The Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set will feature Black Panther, Ant-Man and Vision, who will join the previously-announced heroes Captain America, Hulkbuster and Ultron.

These new characters will include costumes that are inspired by the film Captain America: Civil War, which is slated for a May 6 release.

Along with these new characters, Disney also revealed that Black Suit Spider-Man (who is said to make a cameo in the upcoming Captain American movie) will be sold separately. This version of Spider-Man was previously only available as an Infinity 2.0 character for PS Vita. Disney said that Marvel Battlegrounds will support all of the Marvel characters that were previously introduced in the toy-to-life game, making it the Play Set with the most playable characters.

Disney teamed up with Marvel and United Front Games to create an original story for Marvel Battlegrounds, which features a new four-player local co-op gameplay that has gamers battling in an arcade, brawler style across the Marvel Universe.

The Play Set will also feature new power discs and power-ups, including the Cosmic Cube Blast, an energy blast that will take out villains, Darkhwak's Black energy beam, Nova Corps Strike, a tactical strike from above, and the Ghost Rider Motorcycle.

Gamers can preorder the Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set now, and it will be released on March 15.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is available for Wii U, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, iOS and Microsoft Windows. Check out the trailer for the Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set below.
