Though heartless, stormtroopers have it easy, what with a clear-cut path set out for them. They just have to make sure that all the Empire's orders are followed and they're generally set for life.

But what if they were thrust in world where following a plan doesn't guarantee a desired outcome? That's what we see in the video for Bara Heida's "Stormtrooper."

Produced by Spunk Team, the video starts out with a stormtrooper stuck in a snowy field. Disoriented, he walks around, trying to make sense of where he is. He finally reaches the other side and sees people milling about. As the only one of his kind in the crowd, the stormtrooper stands out like a sore thumb.

He hops on a bus and begs for money to build a spaceship and find his way back to the Empire. Unfortunately, things aren't as simple as that. Some establishments even have a "No Stormtroopers" policy! How dare they deny a member of the Empire?!

He also drops his ice cream, adding to the series of unfortunate events happening to him.

Well, dear stormtrooper, this is what happens in the real world.

It's not all bad though for he eventually finds work, allowing him to enjoy the bare necessities of food and shelter.

However, his loneliness creeps up on him. Fueled by a need for companionship, he turns to a dating app to help him find a woman who will love him.

But, again, it's not that simple! Someone should have warned the guy that dating in this age has its risks, which he experiences for himself shortly after being matched with someone.

Things do start looking up for our lonely stormtrooper after he meets a geek girl who seems to adore all of his quirks.

Fast-forward to a few years, our stormtrooper has finally settled in, feeling complete with a family and a job that he likes.

A happy ending for a stormtrooper finally?

According to Neatorama, not quite. This is because while the video does end on a happy note, the song's lyrics point to the stormtrooper going off to battle and leaving his lady love behind, who turns out to be pregnant with his child, whom he knows nothing about. Sadly, the song also implies that the two never see each other again.
