Well, it was bound to happen. The ALS Ice Bucket challenge is currently the biggest thing on social media, with celebs from all types of media having participated. However, there is one celeb that most people probably never expected to take the plunge: Homer Simpson.

Just released is a 40-second clip of America's most beloved animated dad taking the challenge in stride. The hysterical piece of animation has Homer challenge his pals Ned Flanders and Lenny before throwing the gauntlet to none other than Donald Trump. "The Simpsons" has been in the eye of pop culture for the last week or so with the 12-day FXX marathon of the classic show. The marathon runs through Labor Day. 

It seems that we can always count on FOX's first family to join in the fun, no matter what the cause. It was only a matter of time before the iconic dad got in on the ALS challenge. And it is one hysterical clip to boot, with Homer suffering more than ice water in his test of the big ALS awareness-fest. Now, the question is, will Donald Trump and his famous coif take the plunge?
