There's a bug in Tom Clancy's The Division, and Ubisoft is on a mission to figure it out and fix it. Finally.

Players have complained that it's been about a week since they started getting locked out of their accounts after crafting a High-End Backpack.

Naturally, The Division players aren't happy and they're gathering on Reddit.

"We have posted countless times for over a week now in the tech support forums, we have called and talked to customer support who have been useless and no help at all. The only replies we have had was a mod/rep on the forums telling us to stop spamming (when we have yet to be replied to) that they are working on it," posted one redditor.

It seems at all started when Ubisoft was already trying to fix another batch of problems with The Division. The developer released an earlier patch that was supposed to address another set of issues while implementing a few changes. Turns out the there seems to be a bug in the patch fixing other bugs, too.

Today, a community manager at Ubisoft finally responded to the complaints over The Division forums on Ubisoft's website.

"We are aware that some of you are experiencing an issue where you are locked out of your account. This is usually caused by having crafted a High-End backpack. We are looking to resolve this, it's one of our main priorities at the moment," a Ubisoft community manager said.

In the thread, Ubisoft also asks players to respond to a series of questions to help them figure out the problem.

Affected players are asked what platform they're playing The Division on, what their gamertag is, for how long they've been locked out, whether or not they crafted a High-End Backpack, if they had issues with missing items before being locked out, if their inventory was just full or over capacity, what was the last thing they did before logging out of their account, and if they are getting any error codes.

As of this writing, Ubisoft's thread has reached 44 pages and counting. Most of the respondents are coming from the PS4. They've mostly crafted High-End Backpacks, and have seen some of their items gone missing before getting locked out, too. Most, however, aren't seeing any error codes at all, so it looks like Ubisoft's has a lot of digging to get to the root of the problem.
