The HTC 10 finally rolled out carrying powerful specs, and the good news is that an additional variant of the handset is up for grabs.

Fans of the brand who expect the new variant to be the HTC 10 Plus will be slightly dismayed, as the new smartphone is a watered-down version of the Snapdragon 820-powered and 4 GB RAM-packing flagship phone.

Dubbed the HTC 10 Lifestyle, this model uses a Snapdragon 652 for processing power, and has only 3 GB RAM. The CPU and RAM downgrade virtually makes the Lifestyle a mid-tier HTC 10.

Mobile connoisseurs from Android Community went out and called the HTC 10 "the perfect One M7 reboot."

Rumors about the mid-ranger sprouted a few weeks ago, and sources familiar with the matter noted that the phone packs 16 GB of default storage. While the HTC 10 flagship is targeted toward the mobile market in Taiwan, the Lifestyle phone prepares to enter emerging markets, such as India.

The rest of the specs from the premium handset are unchanged: visuals will appear on a 5.2-inch QHD Super LCD 5 screen able to display resolutions of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, giving the device 564 pixels per inch.

The 12-megapixel UltraPixel 2 rear camera comes with 1.55 micron pixels, optical image stabilization and a generous aperture of f/1.8. The selfie-snapper is a 5-megapixel camera also equipped with OIS, which sports an identical f/1.8 aperture.

The HTC 10 Lifestyle will also feature 24-bit Hi-Res sound, as well as 3,000 mAh battery to keep it running for many hours of voice calling, app using or entertainment.

Just like the premium flagship, the mid-tier HTC device comes with Android 6 pre-installed.

The HTC 10 Lifestyle measures 145.90 x 71.90 x 9.00 millimeters (5.74 x 2.83 x 0.35 inches) and pulls 5.67 ounces.

Looking at the options for connectivity, the HTC 10 Lifestyle covers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G. Extra support for Band 40 is in place, as the frequency is used by some LTE networks in India. The phone also packs a wide array of sensors, such as Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope and Accelerometer.

The phone already appeared on HTC India's online store, but no official information surfaced on the device's price tag.
