If you want to celebrate the NBA Playoffs, do so in style with Shaquille O'Neill giving you directions on Waze.

Amid a slew of past and current NBA stars, Shaq definitely has one of the most distinct voices and it's bound to keep you alert and entertained while commuting. With the 2016 NBA Playoffs just around the corner, what better way to get the hype going than having Shaq on your phone?

The popular Waze navigation app now has Shaq's voice to guide your trips so you can get a "Shaqtastic ride."

The former Los Angeles Lakers superstar and current analyst on the TNT network is ready to make your commute more entertaining, complete with special lines such as "Don't cause a Shaqcident" when there's a traffic jam or something like that.

Other such lines include "Police ahead. Don't be Shaqtin a fool!" when Waze detects that you may run into the police somewhere along your route. With Shaq as your Waze voice, you'll have plenty of other "Shaquisms" for your ride in addition to the typical directions to turn right or left.

This new voice option joins the other improvements Waze has recently made to its navigational app. Back in March, for instance, Waze for Android received a fresh new look and several improvements with the Waze 4.0 update. Waze for iOS also got a cool update last month, complete with a "Planned Drives" feature for a better commute.

The latest Shaq addition just offers a new voice, not new features, but it still goes to show that Waze remains committed to improving the experience and making things better for its users.

It's worth pointing out, however, that the option to get Shaq to give you directions on Waze will not be available for long. O'Neal's voice became available worldwide on April 13, but Waze notes that it will only be available for a limited time.

No specific date is mentioned as to when the offer will expire, but interested Waze users who want Shaq's voice on their phone might want to hurry and take advantage of this option while it still lasts.

To enable Shaq to guide your Waze trips, head over to Menu > Settings > Sound > Voice Language > Shaquille O'Neal. Enjoy your Shaqtastic ride!
