If you are planning to snag a smart timepiece that is female-centric, we have good news for you. The Huawei Watch for ladies Jewel and Elegant models will finally land in the United States.
Initially unveiled during CES 2016, the Jewel and Elegant models of the Huawei Watch will arrive in the United States on May 3, specifically at Best Buy, B&H Photo and Newegg.
The Elegant model is already up for preorder on Newegg, and carries a $459.99 price tag, while the retailer is selling the Jewel variant at $549.99. Customers who preordered should expect these devices to start arriving at their doorsteps beginning May 3.
B&H Photo, in the meantime, has begun taking orders for Jewel, featuring the Rose Gold stainless steel band. It has a price tag of $549.99.
Best Buy offers $50 off on the prices of the two Huawei Watch models. Elegant and Jewel smartwatches have original prices of $499.99 and $599.99, respectively.
These two models come equipped with hardware specs similar to that of the Huawei Watch. They feature dimensions of 44 x 44 x 11.3 mm.
The Elegant model comes with a 1.4-inch full circle AMOLED display with scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal. Compatible with both iOS and Android, it features alerts for texts, apps and calls. The model also boasts a fitness tracking feature with sensor to track cardio and improved heart rate monitor. On top of that, Elegant is preloaded with an array of watch faces.
The Jewel model, in the meantime, features a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. This rocks a 1.4-inch circular AMOLED Always-On Display, 4 GB of internal storage, heart rate monitor, Bluetooth 4.1 LE (Smart) and Wi-Fi plus Google Now with Voice Commands. It is compatible with iOS and Android and runs an Android Wear operating system. It likewise touts a 1.5-day battery life.
When Huawei unwrapped these new fancy smartwatches, Tech Times managed to get hold of them. It reported, for instance that the Jewel variant sports a bevy of jewels around its face. It comes with Swarovski Zirconia, faux diamond gemstones.
