Another Spartacus star is popping up in the DC TV Universe, and this time it is the sneaky Syrian, Ashur, or Nick Tarabay should we call him by his real name. We understand the star has landed a multi-episode role in the Flash TV series as Digger Harkness, better known as Captain Boomerang.

Captain Boomerang is one of the most known villains in the Flash's comic book story, and to his credit, he has come close to killing the speedster several times before. Though he's mainly a villain to the Flash, Captain Boomerang will sometimes face off against other heroes within the DC Universe with varying success.

Interestingly enough, Captain Boomerang won't just be a part of the Flash, but also the Arrow. We've come to understand that he'll feature in several crossover episodes, and will take the combined forces of the Arrow and the Flash to take him down. We would have preferred if the writers found another villain to bring the Arrow and the Flash together, but Captain Boomerang is alright too.

Chances are, Captain Boomerang will end up being a member of the Suicide Squad after his defeat at the hands of both the Flash and the Arrow. What we do know, however, is that he'll start off as a former operative of A.R.G.U.S, who is highly skilled in espionage and martial arts. He also has a thirst for vengeance against his former employers, and we're certain bodies will be hitting the floor aplenty.

Captain Boomerang will first appear in Arrow's 7th episode, and then he'll make another appearance in the 8th episode, in which he'll face-off against the Flash. It's quite strange that a Flash villain is making his first appearance in Arrow, but we won't be complaining if the writers pull it off.

We're very interested in seeing what type of threat Captain Boomerang will bring to the series, and we have a lot of faith in Nick Tarabay to pull off a tremendous performance for the fans. We loved him as Ashur, and we also loved him in Star Trek Into Darkness, so we believe this new character he's playing is in good hands.
