When Square Enix opened up preorders for the Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector's Edition in April, it sold out in just 30 minutes.

For those fans who didn't manage to grab the special collection, Square Enix just announced that it plans on adding 10,000 more copies for sale. That's still probably not enough to satisfy demand, but this is an exclusive limited edition kind of thing.

"We have only been able to produce 10,000 more UCEs due to the time it takes to create each individual Noctis Play Arts Kai figure because they are so detailed, and to confirm, this is the final batch of UCEs we will produce," Square Enix wrote on its blog. "We cannot guarantee that this new batch of 10,000 UCEs will arrive on time for the launch of Final Fantasy XV on 30th of September 2016. But rest assured we are trying our absolute hardest to get them to fans in time. We will of course provide updates on this closer to the time of release as we know how important it is for you guys to have the game as early as possible."

For most Final Fantasy fans, the company will fill orders for the collection based on their position on the waiting list. Those who make the cut will receive an email on May 23 with a private link to purchase the collection, but they must act fast: that link is only active for two days. If that link isn't used in two days, the sale of that set will go to the next person on the waiting list.

Fans in Europe will have to play the online version of The Hunger Games to grab the special edition set: the Ultimate Collector's Edition will go to the first 10,000 people who purchase it. Australian and New Zealand fans, though, will have to wait for more information, although Square Enix plans on making more editions available there.

For those who still miss out, there is always eBay, where the Ultimate Collector's Edition has already appeared for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for around $500 to $900. That's a considerably higher price than retail, which is only $270.

Final Fantasy XV releases on Sept. 30.
