Google has partnered with Verizon to exclusively offer its new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. The carrier is now offering customers a credit of up to $400 when trading in their current smartphone.

Smartphone fans have some new choices of devices from some of the biggest players in the game and wireless carriers are offering very tempting deals in order to get customers to upgrade to the latest and greatest handsets.

Free Smartphone Deals

Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile got very creative and announced free iPhone 7 deals to coincide with the launch of Apple's new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The deals appear to have worked, as Sprint and T-Mobile announced iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus shattered records during preorders.

Free Extras When Purchasing New Smartphones

LG announced its new LG V20 in September and all four major U.S. carriers are offering the 5.7-inch phablet on its network. In order to drum up preorders for the device, T-Mobile announced that it would offer customers some free extras in the form of a $200 credit when trading in an older smartphone and a pair of B&O Play premium headphones that normally retail for $149 when preordering the LG V20 from T-Mobile.

The LG V20 is one of the only Android smartphones to ship with Google's latest version of Android, Android 7.0 Nougat, which is sure to attract Android fans. Those wanting an even fresher version of Nougat and ability to receive software updates whenever Google releases them can pick up the company's new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.

Google has partnered with Verizon to exclusively offer the Pixel and Pixel XL on its network. In addition, Google is selling unlocked versions of the smartphone through its online store. While Verizon is the official exclusive carrier of the Pixel and Pixel XL, that isn't stopping T-Mobile from offering Pixel and Pixel XL users a half-off deal when bringing the smartphone to the carrier's network.

T-Mobile's announcement looks to have ruffled Verizon's feathers and now the carrier has announced it will offer new customers and current customers a sweet deal when purchasing the Pixel or Pixel XL.
