Christmas is now behind us and so are the attractive Christmas promotions, but there are still exciting Xbox One holiday deals running through the end of the year.

Until Dec. 31, 2016, Xbox fans can get an Xbox One or Xbox One S console with a neat freebie such as a wireless controller, a stereo headset or a free game of their choice.

"The holidays aren't quite over yet, and we're excited to offer yet another promotion for your last-minute shopping needs," says Microsoft.

For the rest of the year, buying an Xbox One S or Xbox One console comes with one free gift.

Most big retailers in the United States are already offering this promotional deal, with the available freebie varying by retailer. Here's what options you have when purchasing the Xbox One or Xbox One S.

Xbox One Holiday Bundles

Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart.com are all throwing in a free Xbox Wireless Controller when purchasing the Xbox One or the slimmer Xbox One S.

GameStop, meanwhile, is offering an Xbox Stereo Handset in either black or white color option with the purchase of an Xbox One or Xbox One S.

Target and Microsoft Store are on board as well, bundling a game when purchasing one of the two consoles. Customers can choose from the slew of games available and select the one they want bundled with the console purchase.

To further sweeten the deal, many stores are also offering a $50 gift card with the purchase of a new Xbox One console, in addition to the other bonuses available. You can find more details regarding bundle options at Microsoft's dedicated Xbox website.

Xbox One S Perks

Microsoft further points out that its Xbox One S is the only console this holiday season to boast 4K UHD Blu-ray, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and 4K video streaming. The company touts that its Xbox Live gaming network is the most reliable and allows gamers to enjoy more than 100 exclusive games, as well as a vast trove of more than 300 Xbox 360 games that sport Xbox One Backward Compatibility.

"There's no better time to buy an Xbox One S, the ultimate games and 4K entertainment system," Microsoft adds.

This means that Xbox fans who missed out on Christmas deals still have one more chance to get an attractive Xbox bundle this holiday season, but remember that this limited-time deal is only good for the next few days. Once the calendar hits 2017, the bundles will no longer be available.
