Bigelow Aerospace's founder Robert Bigelow is convinced that extraterrestrial beings are living among us.
In an interview with 60 Minutes on Sunday, May 29, the space habitat company's founder — who is also a real estate mogul — shared his thoughts on the presence of extraterrestrials. Bigelow also remarked how private space companies would apparently pave the way for human settlement in space.
Bigelow is also of the belief that aliens or extraterrestrial beings have already visited Earth.
Bigelow Aerospace Founder Convinced Of Alien Presence On Earth
When Lara Logan from 60 Minutes asked if he believed in aliens, Bigelow answered with certainty that he was "absolutely convinced" that they exist.
"There has been and is an existing presence, an ET presence," Bigelow told 60 Minutes.
On being asked his views on UFO visits to Earth, Bigelow said that he is sure that UFOs or Unidentified Flying Objects have visited Earth. The 73-year-old admitted that he is possibly the only person who spends more time than anyone else in the United States studying alien presence, UFO's, and extraterrestrial visits.
Bigelow shared that his interest in alien existence first emerged after his grandparents encountered a UFO just outside Las Vegas. In the interview, Bigelow explained how the encounter transpired. He revealed that the UFO approached his grandparents' car in speed and filled up the entire windshield, before taking off at a right angle and flying off into the distance.
Bigelow's Close Encounters With Aliens
Considering that the subject of alien existence on Earth is a controversial and debatable topic, Bigelow's rock solid belief may sound crazy to many. However, the real estate mogul doesn't seem to care much about what other people think of him.
"I don't give a damn. I don't care," he responded when quizzed by Logan whether his assertions that he believes in aliens or UFOs in public was a risky one.
Bigelow shared that others' belief in him or what he says is not going to make a difference to what he knows and is real.
During the interview, Bigelow also claimed that he had close encounters with extraterrestrials, but did not detail the same. Bigelow also revealed that one of his companies was getting referrals from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding UFOs and some bizarre activities. Incidentally, the alien illustration on the side of Bigelow Aerospace's Las Vegas headquarters is a result of the founder's fascination with aliens and their existence.
Bigelow also claimed that undertaking long and arduous space travels to find alien life is not required, as apparently they exist among us.
