Kendall Jenner might have a new rival in the modeling world in the person of her niece, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West.
North just had her first appearance on the runway last Saturday for the LOL Surprise! in Pacific Palisades, near Los Angeles, California. The show also highlighted the launch of Bigger Surprise, the toy brand's new release.
North West's First Runway
The line had a lively setup for the show that included a photo booth, a glittering runway, and even sweet desserts. For the show, the famous 5-year-old channeled her inner Thrilla, one of the dolls of the line which was inspired by Michael Jackson's "Thriller" look.
The child walked the runway wearing a red leather jacket with a matching skirt, a black crop top, black shoes with white socks, a black Gaia purse, and red lipstick. She was styled by Simone Harouche.
While her daughter strutted on the aisle, her mother, Kim, did not fail to document the moment on her phone. She posted it on her Instagram story.
"North is completely obsessed with L.O.L. Surprise already, so when we found out there was going to be an L.O.L. Surprise BIGGER Surprise Fashion show, she absolutely had to be involved," said Kim.
"She loves to dress up like her favorite characters, so it was so exciting for her to actually become a real-life L.O.L. doll."
The show was a monumental event for North, although, she is not the only celebrity daughter who showed their cuteness on the runway. Birdie, Busy Philipps's daughter, and Valentina, Sara Foster's child, also walked for the toy brand.
North is the oldest of West and Kardashian's three children. They also have a 2-year-old son named Saint, and a 9-month-old daughter named Chicago.
Other Fashion Moments
Notably, this is not her first appearance in the fashion world. She previously starred in the #MeandMyPeekaboo Fendi campaign this year with her mother and her grandmother, Kris Jenner.
In the shoot, the pint-sized fashionista was seen in the backyard of a home in Los Angeles with outstanding view and a pool. The campaign was done to celebrate the 10th anniversary for the brand's Peekabo handbag.
It aims to recreate a family album by capturing an authentic moment shared by the family. To top the family affair, her dad, rapper Kanye West, was on its soundtrack.
Furthermore, North is also a budding fashion connoisseur. In fact, she was responsible for the glow in the dark Yeezys that were included in her father's line.
