A total of six new characters are jumping into the fray in Mortal Kombat 11.

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the Kombat Pack that comes with six DLC fighters, three of which are from other popular franchises and three who are making a comeback.

New Mortal Kombat 11 Characters

The gaming studio revealed the Kombat Pack in a video on YouTube (posted below), showing off the fighters coming to Mortal Kombat 11.

First up, there's Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, and then Sindel made her appearance. After the three returning characters, Todd McFarlane's Spawn, DC Comics' Joker, and Terminator T-800 (designed in the likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger) stepped into the spotlight, completing the new roster.

They're all part of the Kombat Pack, but not all of them are available right off the bat. Only Shang Tsung and Nightwolf are playable at the moment, and the availability of the rest will be gradual between October 2019 and March 2020. That said, Terminator T-800 is expected to be available on Oct. 8, Sindel on Nov. 26, Joker on Jan. 28, and Spawn on March 17.

That's not all the DLC has in store. Aside from the characters, it also contains skins and gear sets, plus access to DLC characters a week early.

The Kombat Pack is priced at $39.99, and for those who don't know, it's already included in the Premium Edition of the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 Leak

This announcement might not come as news to some, since a previous leak already divulged some of the characters before, but it does confirm the likes of Spawn, Terminator T-800, and Joker.

Even then, the upcoming fighters didn't come as much of a surprise. In the past, Mortal Kombat 10 had guest characters from other properties such as Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, who also appeared in other games such as Dead by Daylight, and the Xenomorph from Alien, after all.

Mortal Kombat 11 was released in April for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
