Behaviour Interactive announced that Dead by Daylight is getting a couple of characters from Stranger Things, including the Demogorgon.

The horror game has gotten a lot of killers from other big-name franchises, such as Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street, the Pig from Saw, and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Now it's getting one from one of Netflix's biggest hits.

New 'Dead By Daylight' Killer And Survivors

As mentioned earlier, players will get to step into the shoes of the Demogorgon from Stranger Things as a killer. For those who don't know, the Demogorgon was the antagonist of the first season, and the Mind Flayer soon became the primary enemy of Eleven and the gang in the third season.

In addition, players can also get to play as Nancy Wheeler or Steve Harrington, two protagonists of the popular series. Interestingly, this is the first time that the studio launched two survivors in an update. Typically, it was only one killer and one survivor along with one map, which is the Hawkins National Library in this case.

"The Chapter introduces a new Killer and two new Survivors to the realm of The Entity: the monstrous, otherworldly Demogorgon is the new untamable Killer. Against it stands not one, but two, new Survivors: Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble," Behaviour Interactive says.

For the uninitiated, the killer in the game is tasked with hunting down survivors, who are then, in turn, tasked with escaping and avoiding the killer at all costs with various tools and the like.

The Stranger Things DLC is expected to roll out sometime in September for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

It's also worth mentioning that this isn't the first time that the Stranger Things franchise expanded to the gaming scene. Stranger Things: The Game was launched back in 2017 and was followed by Stranger Things: The Game 3 in July. Fortnite even had a crossover with the series back in July.
