Blizzard has had bad reviews of their beloved games as of late, and it seems that Warcraft 3: Reforged isn't fairing any better. Scoring an abomination that even the Undead horde would not want to bring into the fold that is 0.5 in Metacritic as of this writing. The hype was real, the expectations, enormous, the ending? Complete failure.

Warcraft 3: Reforged was supposed to bring new and old players alike to experience where it all began for Blizzard in terms of Real-time Strategy Games first took off. Instead, players were greeted with a game that seems rushed and had so many bugs to make you want just to uninstall the game, get a refund and forget that the game was even out in the first place.

Why did it Fail?

Blizzard promised better cut-scenes, improved graphics, cinematics, and voice work. This is not the case on the final product. The trailers looked impressive, and the hype was really there, but as the game launched, players were not able to see any difference except for just better models.
Bugs, crashes, lags, assets that did not load and many more plagued the game. This should not have been an issue since this is a decade-old game. UI looks wonky as well, and the game doesn't look any better than the original.
Connectivity issues that have been a bane for gamers are present here as well. For such a giant company, it's more than a shame to think that this should still exist.
