In a recent discovery, it was found out that certain face masks listed on Amazon which claimed to be "based in USA" were actually manufactured in Wuhan, China itself! The whole point of people buying face masks is to stop the infection of the Coronavirus or Covid-19 itself and now that it has surfaced that some of these face masks come from the very source of the virus, it is a given that people will now draw away from purchasing these masks.

Packs including 50 face masks have been even more popular as the demand for these face masks have skyrocketed but a certain Amazon listing has been flooded with a massive amount of one-star reviews from people who believed these masks were made in the United States!
The label itself claimed it was based in the USA
An American flag is even attached to a particular listing along with the words "Based in the USA" to attract buyers to purchase these products but upon delivery, a lot of these buyers found out that the label itself indicates that the manufacturing was done in the heart of Wuhan, China where the coronavirus or Covid-19 originated!

One customer even wrote in a review under that specific listing, "I cannot think of a better or faster way to get the virus than ordering these masks," which showcases the amount of distrust people now have for products that are manufactured in Wuhan, China.
The face masks are priced pretty low on Amazon
The face masks from four different sellers have a price range of $23 to $35 dollars which is really cheap when you factor in the demand and supply for these products. Two of these sellers are honest enough to put in fine print that the product comes from China itself.

The problem is not with the products that claim they are from China because they can be avoided. The problem is with products that claim they are from the United States when they are actually from China! What's worse is that since they are hiding the full details of where the product is manufactured, you will not be able to tell whether or not this can even increase the spread of the coronavirus or Covid-19.
As of recent, the cases are piling up
There have already been 68,000 confirmed cases in Hubei alone where at least 3,162 people have already died from the Coronavirus or Covid-19. The province has already been on lockdown ever since late January but the virus still continues to spread to other countries by different travelers and carriers of this virus.
There are currently about 121,000 reported coronavirus cases around the world while the death toll is at least 4,300. The United States has just recently been hit by this virus and has already experienced 1,000 reported cases as well as 31 deaths as of recent. There is a big struggle to stop this virus from spreading which is why products like this face mask should be banned from Amazon altogether.
