Gigantamax forms of the existing fully-evolved Starter Pokemon, whether it be Rillaboom, Inteleon, or even Cinderace, were announced previously to be part of the very first Sword and Shield DLC in June but hold your horses, more information has just been revealed.

New info regarding Gigantamax

The first new piece of info revealed is Gigantamax Rillabon knows G-Max Drum Solo! If ever your Rillaboom happens to know a Grass-type attack, it will also unleash this powerful move. The attack allows your Pokemon to ignore the abilities of the opponent while being able to attack Shedinja using a non-super effective move.

Gigantamax Cinderace also gets an upgrade as it learns G-Max Fireball when it already knows a fire-type attack. The G-max Fireball is already considered an extremely powerful move wherein Cinderace uses its strong legs for it to kick a gigantic fireball towards the opponent that causes an explosion when the fireball hits! This move is considered even more powerful than all the other Max Moves and can even ignore the effects of the target's Ability.

The Inteleon's Gigantamax form even gives its G-Max Hydrosnipe whenever it knows a water-type attack. The move is considered extremely powerful and will take aim from the top of Inteleon's towering tail! By gathering all the water at its fingertips just before blasting at the opponent, the attack launches with such force and speed big enough to cause a huge explosion! This move even ignores other effects of the target's Ability.

The new Sword and Shield Expansion Pass

The new expansion pass brings more Trainer Outfits as well as League Card Designs for those players who want to customize their characters in the Pokemon game even more. The trailer shows players the outfits that look sort of like Chairman Rose, Beedie, Marnie, and also Team Yell.

Seen in the trailer is also the very first gameplay of Kubfu that is the new Mythical Pokemon that has been revealed alongside the Expansion Pass announcement made earlier this year.

Fans will be able to see Kubfu interacting with none other than Mustard, and the new NPC set on helping you through your journey in the Isle of Armor DLC. Kubfu is also spotted using quite different Fighting-type attacks, just like Rock Smash and even evolving into Urshifu.

Kubfu can evolve into two forms of Urshifu, depending on the trainer's choice. Players on the Isle of Armor will receive permission for them to challenge the Towers of Two Fists. When players are able to conquer one of the two towers, Kubfu will then evolve into a more powerful Urshifu. The tower which the player chooses dictates Kubfu's evolution.
