A Russian Influencer surprised everyone online when she married her stepson after weeks of being divorced with her ex-husband, aka her groom's dad. And just weeks after the ceremony, they announced that they are expecting their first-born baby.
Marina Balmasheva was the one who raised her former stepson and now husband, Vladimir "Vova" Shavyrin, for 13 years before their controversial romance hit the news just this year when she posted their images on Instagram.
The reaction may not turn out as this Russian influencer expected. She received tons of uproar right after she posted a before-and-after photo on Instagram with her over 434,000 followers. She even captioned on her post, "Tired of hiding."
Marina, who's from the western Russian region of Krasnodar Krai, lived with her husband Alexey, 45, from 2007 for over 10 years before the relationship ended in divorce. She stood as Vova's mother for those years before tying the knot this year and shared their sweet times on Instagram.
The Russian Influencer shared the news of their wedding online with the caption "husband and wife" alongside a photo of them taking a selfie in their wedding outfits.
"Thank you so much for your kind words," she said in the roughly translated Instagram post.
Their actual ceremony was much more low key and simple. With a video, they shared it showing both of them signing at a local registry office. The couple dressed casually to make their vows, wearing just T-shirts and shorts.
"We drove to the registry office, I didn't even have a hairbrush with me. The rings were in the car. There were an excellent mood and a little embarrassment. After the registry office, we dressed in typical wedding attire and enjoyed a nice reception at a local restaurant with several guests. "as Marina explained.
Marina described their day as "ordinary" but said the pair wore their glamorous outfits for the evening. "We are expecting a baby and we now want to move to a bigger city." she added.
She was married previously to Vovo's father, Alexey Shavyrin, 45, last 2007. The married couple were together for 13 years and have raised their five children, reportedly adopting them, which would also describe Vova as her legal son.
During an interview, she expressed how she is very much in love with Vladimir, and reportedly helping to raise three of his five siblings.
According to the reports, she adopted her groom's father five children when they were together. However, the youngest one with Down syndrome continues to live with her ex-husband
Many people outraged following the posts and exclaimed that it was immoral to start a relationship with the child which she had helped to raise.
One netizen 'SvetlanaNakhshumova' even commented: 'What shocks me most is that this boy grew up before her very eyes.'

The Ex- Husband's Comment
Her ex-husband Mr Shavyrin revealed in a report that he found out about the relationship in March this year.
"I could not fall asleep one night when I heard them having sex," he told to the Russian talk show host Pryamoy Efir.
"A few minutes later she just came and lay down next to me. I didn't tell her a word that night," he added.
Marina's ex-husband said he did not know how to act after finding out about his wife's infidelity with his son and waited for weeks before confronting her about it.
