The epic alien invasion will soon make its return on July 28 for Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and PS4. Surprisingly, this remake from Black Forest Games and THQ Nordic is set in an unreleased mission that has been carefully restored with some new stuff to cater to both old and new fans.

Crypto-137's advanced tools

Destroy All Humans Remake is still set in the 1950s, although it has been remastered to suit the more advanced 2020. Take the role of evil alien Crypto-137 and terrorize humans in 1950s Earth with these highly advanced "human-bothering tools" that will surely trigger your interest in the game. Find out some of them below:

Jetpack

Even the ancient race of cloned conquerors Furon has left room for technological improvement. In 2005, Crypto's jetpack was a double-jump, but in the remake, it has become a much more elaborate kit. It can be used for a quick combat dash or glide between rooftops.

When your holo-cover is blown, your jetpack can take you to an adjacent alleyway. You can also choose another face when cops and troops hunt you.

UFO

Crypto's ship has seen a significant upgrade after 15 years. The new flying saucer can now fly both sideways and vertically. This is particularly useful when removing cars on the road, then using them to blow up tanks.

It is vital to master the flying object since most targets are beneath you. It is easy to scorch the ground in a straight line while catching soldiers in the blaze.

HoloBob

Cryptos can wear the skin of any nonplayer character (NPC) across Destroy All Humans. This allows him to walk through communities as well as opens up a Hitman-like element.

Every NPC can be used as a costume, so you can easily go past a police checkpoint or even the military.

Cortex scan

Go ahead and invade the minds of a stranger on the street. With the Cortex Scan, you can inject misogyny, paranoia, and materialism of the era directly to their heads. It is entertaining while giving a watch-dog thrill.

Psionics

Destroy All Humans! was among the first action games in 1995 that showed the joy to throw a ragdoll 100 feet up and watch it a spin.

In this remake, the game's physics has advanced with more stable and sophisticated modern movement algorithms. Yet, the satisfaction remains the same as the game mechanic is simple: everything with the same size as Crypto (or even smaller) can be ripped from the pavement. While some objects are sentient, others are explosive, but they are both for nuclear zombie cows.
