Two of the leading companies that concern itself in gaming and all gamer needs, Microsoft and GameStop, are now brewing up a mutually beneficial partnership that will adhere to customer's needs and better services, all focused on Xbox needs and gaming. GameStop will modernize its facilities and retail shops with Microsoft's technology and, in turn, be the provider of Xbox all-access in the country.

The gaming-focused electronic retailer company, GameStop, recently announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft, allowing a multi-year venture for both technology companies. GameStop's role in being a strategic partner for Microsoft Corp. is a win-win for both companies as Xbox will be in the frontlines of the store's offers.

According to Microsoft's News Center, GameSpot's massive 5,000+ locations are some of its leverage to the multi-year partnership and tie-up with the Redmond-based tech giant. GameStop has centered itself on being the "ultimate gaming destination" for gamers, making it an ideal platform to feature the upcoming gaming console, Xbox Series X.

GameStop will use some products, including the Microsoft Surface Tablets, and utilize Dynamics 365, Microsoft's cloud-based business applications, and customer data platform, further enhancing its back-end and in-store solutions. The partnership would be an upgrade for GameStop's current system to elevate customer experience and gaming solutions for the public.

This partnership is another great offer by GameStop to the public and its future customers. A whopping $200 price slash for Microsoft's Xbox Series X will be up for grabs for all customers who will pre-order the new console.

One of the most beneficial deals for Microsoft's console customers is the addition of the Xbox All Access that will soon be carried out by its partner, GameStop. Microsoft's Xbox All Access is a service by the company that lets the public try the console for 24 months or two years, including a Game Pass Ultimate, all without an upfront payment.

The All Access for the console resembles a free trial, just like software companies; however, this deal gets a prolonged experience of 24 months. Of course, customers should not expect to get the console for free, as it will still require payment along the way.

Despite offering the console somewhat like a free trial, Microsoft and Xbox see that both will benefit from the new package deal. The Xbox All Access would reel in customer acquisition and retention, further adding to the gamers' lifetime revenue.
